Image Rights Protection | £55 (cash only)

All copyrights of the photographs belong to Anecdote.London, while the portrait rights remain with the client.
The photography fee is based on the non-protection of portrait rights.

If you wish to protect your portrait rights, an additional fee of £55 will be applied.

By default, photographs taken may be uploaded to Anecdote.London’s website and social media channels.

However, if you request portrait rights protection, your images will not be published anywhere.

Since a diverse range of subjects greatly contributes to the growth of Anecdote.London, clients who agree to the use of their portrait rights will receive 5 additional retouched images as a token of our appreciation.

- Additional Service -

Additional Time | £200 per hour for BASIC (excl.VAT)

Basic Editing | £60 / 30copies (excl.VAT)

Basic editing includes adjustments to tilt, colour tone, and composition.

Express Editing Service | £170 Basic, £220 Pro (excl.VAT)

This is a service that allows you to receive edited photos quickly.

After you make your selections, the edited photos will be delivered within 7 days.

All Wedding events, including town hall weddings and registry office ceremonies in the UK,

will be scheduled for a minimum of 2 hours.

At Anecdote, we believe that photography is more than just capturing moments

—it’s about documenting the various emotions of life’s most special moments as a story.

Given the nature of wedding events, we aim to capture all aspects of the ceremony: before, during, and after the event, as well as the mood of the location, in addition to the people.

Therefore, we are unable to accommodate shoots under 2 hours.

We kindly ask for your understanding regarding this matter.

Travel fees will apply for locations outside of London Zone 3.

- Payment -

Currently, we do not accept card payments.

Your reservation will be confirmed once 50% of the total service fee is transferred via bank transfer as a deposit.

The remaining balance must be transferred on the same day after the shoot is completed.

Please note that the quoted amount does not include taxes, and a 20% VAT will be added.

- Post Shoot Procedure -

/ The photos from the shoot will be delivered as a compressed selection, curated by the photographer, via Google Drive.

The first selection process excludes photos where the eyes are closed or focus is out of place.

This helps reduce the file size and saves your time.

/ The original photos will be delivered within one week after the shoot.

/ The deadline for selecting photos to be edited will be provided via email.

/ The final edited photos will be delivered within 6 weeks from the date you make your selection.

- Scope of Film Editing -

Original clips will not be provided. Only the edited video will be delivered, and re-editing is not possible.

If you require the original clips, the full file can be provided for an additional fee. Please contact us for further details.

(All editing is done based on an Apple monitor. Therefore, we recommend checking the edited photos on a product from the same manufacturer.

Using devices from other manufacturers may cause slight differences in colour and tone, for which we cannot be held responsible.

Additionally, please note that even within Apple products, differences may exist depending on the model and version.)

- Scope of Photo Editing -

The photo editing process is consistent across all types of photos.

To preserve the original mood, lighting, and colour tone of the shoot, each photo is individually edited, rather than applying a preset to all images.

The editing includes basic skin retouching, tone correction, brightness, tilt adjustments, and colour grading.

While body proportion adjustments are possible, excessive distortion or cosmetic changes are not done.

Our goal is to retain the integrity of the moment.

Any distracting elements in the background will generally be removed, but please note that this is not applied to every photo equally.

In the case of backlighting or cloudy weather, we will do our best to enhance the sky, but compositing

(adding elements like skies or backgrounds) is not possible.

FAQ

You can request a refund of the deposit within 3 days after making the payment. However, after this period, refunds are not possible. For example, if you make the payment on September 1st, the refund request must be made by 24:00 on September 3rd (UK time). During the photoshoot, we will show you the photos, so refunds for personal dissatisfaction are not possible. After the 4th day following the confirmation of your booking, the deposit is non-refundable, so please make your reservation carefully. In the case of inclement weather such as heavy rain or storms, as defined by the UK Met Office, where the shoot cannot take place, a refund will be processed.

Based on the shooting flow, premium services utilise two still cameras (for a variety of focal lengths) and one video camera mounted on a gimbal. However, depending on the situation, there may be cases where only one still camera and one video camera are used.

For still photography, we use high-resolution, top-tier lenses.

In contrast, other service tiers typically operate with a single camera paired with a top-line zoom lens.

We would like to remind you about our guidelines concerning personal belongings.

There have been instances where participants bring large items such as shopping bags on the day of the shoot,

which significantly restricts the filming process. Most Anecdote shoots take place at landmarks, and even if they are not at landmarks,

they involve continuous walking outdoors. As a result, there are no facilities to store your belongings.

While the photographer can keep small personal items like phones and wallets, it is absolutely not possible for them to carry large items during the shoot. The camera equipment alone is already quite heavy, and additional baggage poses a major distraction.

If you bring large items, please note that street photo shoots cannot proceed, and only static shots will be possible.

Consequently, we cannot guarantee the quality of such photos, and refunds will not be provided.

Due to the frequent occurrences of customers bringing large items without prior notice, despite repeated reminders,

we have decided to provide this detailed notice.
